Create a Telegram bot using BotFather and connect it to SendSeven for automated messaging and customer support.

BotFather will guide you through the setup process.

You can change this name later using /setname.

Contain only letters, numbers, and underscores

Choose a username that reflects your brand. Users will find your bot by searching for @your_bot_username.

SendSeven will automatically configure the webhook for you.

When users message your bot, you'll receive a webhook event like this:

If the token was compromised, use /revoke in BotFather to get a new one.

The channel shows as "Connected" in Settings → Channels

What is BotFather?

BotFather is Telegram's official bot for creating and managing Telegram bots. It's a built-in bot accessible at @BotFather in Telegram. You use it to register new bots, get bot tokens, change bot settings, and more. Just search for @BotFather and start a chat.

Can I use an existing Telegram bot?

Yes! If you already have a Telegram bot, simply get its token from BotFather (type /token and select your bot) and paste it into SendSeven's settings. You don't need to create a new bot.

What message types does Telegram support?

SendSeven supports all Telegram message types: text, photos, documents, audio, video, voice messages, stickers, animations, location data, and inline keyboards with buttons.

Is it free?

Telegram bots are completely free to use and create. SendSeven charges no per-message fees for Telegram — you only pay SendSeven's regular platform subscription, which includes unlimited bot messages.

Can I connect multiple Telegram bots?

Yes! You can connect as many Telegram bots as you want. Each bot becomes a separate channel in your SendSeven workspace with no limits.

What is the Channel Connect Link?

The Channel Connect Link is a secure link you can share with your marketing team, agency, or a colleague. It lets them connect the Telegram channel without needing access to the rest of your SendSeven account. Find it in Settings → Channels.
