Authorship
Marketing and strategy posts are typically written by Kai Viertel (Co-Founder & CMO) — 15+ years in digital marketing, including 7 years leading Demand Generation at Sinch / MessengerPeople. Industry, product, and technical posts come from the SendSeven Editorial Team, a group of product, engineering, and customer success specialists based in Augsburg, Germany. Every post is bylined and links back to the author profile page.
Research & Sources
Statistics and market data come from credible primary sources: government bodies (BfDI, Datenschutzkonferenz, EDSA), industry institutions (Bitkom, Inxmail, LDB, matelso), public reports from market peers, and our own platform analytics. External numbers are attributed in-line with date and source. Our own ROI models and worked examples are fully transparent — inputs, assumptions, and the formula are all disclosed.
Fact-Checking & Internal Review
Every post is reviewed by at least one second team member before publication. For product claims (features, pricing, technical details), the official API documentation on docs.sendseven.com is the binding reference — not marketing assumptions. Legal statements (GDPR, privacy, compliance) are offered as orientation and best practices and do not replace individual legal counsel. For binding legal questions, we recommend consulting a lawyer specialized in data protection law.
AI Usage
We use AI tools (LLMs like Claude, ChatGPT) as research and drafting aids — never as the sole source and never without human final review. Every post is editorially reviewed, owned by a named author, and approved before publication. Statistics are always verified against the primary source before publication. We do not publish pure AI output without editorial work. The same applies to imagery and audio: some of our illustrations and graphics, and the voice-over in a few of our product videos, are AI-generated. Such content is always created under human direction and never with intent to deceive. Where we publish AI-generated visual or audio content, we make it transparent — on this page and, for video, via the synthetic-content labels on the platforms where we publish.
Updates & Maintenance
Publication date and last-reviewed date are visible on every post. Security- and compliance-relevant content (GDPR, WhatsApp policies, Meta policies, pricing) is reviewed at least every six months and updated when needed. When product features or industry standards change substantially, we update affected posts immediately and refresh the "Last reviewed" date.
Errors & Corrections
If you find an error — factual, numerical, technical — write to [email protected]. We review every report. For confirmed errors, we correct the post, add a visible correction notice at the end, and update the review date. For substantial content changes that lead to different conclusions, we additionally flag the change at the top of the post.

Comparison articles and competitive analyses are produced without third-party payment. We do not accept payment for positive mentions. We currently do not use affiliate links on sendseven.com. If we ever add affiliate commissions for external recommendations, they will be clearly disclosed at the relevant place.
