Can I collect phone numbers for WhatsApp?
Yes. You can add a phone number field to your widget and automatically tag contacts as WhatsApp-ready. SendSeven validates phone numbers and marks them for WhatsApp availability.
How do I add the widget to my website?
Copy the embed code or script snippet from your widget settings and paste it into your website HTML (typically before the closing tag). For WordPress, use a Custom HTML block. For Shopify, add it to your theme.liquid file.
Can I customize the fields?
Absolutely. You can add any combination of fields: email, name, phone, WhatsApp, custom text, dropdown, checkbox, radio buttons, and more. Each field is optional and configurable.
Is there GDPR compliance with double opt-in?
Yes. Widgets support double opt-in verification via email. Contacts are marked as verified only after clicking the confirmation link in the email. This ensures GDPR compliance and confirms valid email addresses.
Can I use it with WordPress or Shopify?
Yes. SendSeven widgets work on any website. For WordPress, use a Custom HTML block. For Shopify, add the script to your theme settings. You can also use widgets on custom websites, landing pages, and blogs without any platform restrictions.
What happens when someone subscribes through the widget?
The subscriber is immediately added to your SendSeven contact list with auto-tags and list assignments. A customizable success message displays (optional), and you can redirect users to a thank-you page. If double opt-in is enabled, a confirmation email is sent first.
What is the Channel Connect Link?
The Channel Connect Link is a secure, one-time link you can share with your IT manager, agency, or a colleague. It lets them configure the signup widget without needing access to the rest of your SendSeven account. Find it in Settings → Channels.
